Without an Executive Committee the Scout Group could not function! They are responsible for the day-to-day running of the Group\u2019s finances, property, insurance and public occasions.<\/p>\n<p>Our Executive Committee are:<\/p>\n<p>Group Chairman \u2013 Jane Dengate<br \/>\nGroup Secretary \u2013 \u00a0Clair White<br \/>\nGroup Treasurer \u2013 Shilpa Sikaria<br \/>\nGroup Fundraiser &#8211; POSITION VACANT<br \/>\nParent Representative Beavers \u2013 POSITION VACANT<br \/>\nParent Representative Cubs \u2013 Sue Pearce<br \/>\nParent Representative Scouts \u2013 POSITION VACANT<br \/>\nGroup Scout Leader \u2013 Wendy Binks<br \/>\nThe committee have an informal meeting once a term, if you feel that you can contribute in any way, no matter how small, please get in touch.<\/p>\n<p>The committee supports the leaders and young people by:<\/p>\n<p>Co-ordinating and managing resources<br \/>\nRaising funds and deciding on spending<br \/>\nRecruiting adult helpers<br \/>\nAiding communications<br \/>\nSupporting Group events<br \/>\nRepresenting the views of parents<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Group Execuitive Committee is an important part of Scouting but is often overlooked!
