Beavers

Beaver Scouts are our youngest members and are aged 6-8. They meet weekly to take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, going on visits and performing good turns. They also get involved with plenty of outdoor activities.

Beavers will also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers. It may be the first time they spend a night away from home so it’s a real adventure for them.

Beavers, a great place to hang out…

Meetings:

Beavers meet on Thursdays during term times at St. Christopher’s Church Hall in Warden Hill 5:15 until 6:30 pm.

Uniform:

Beaver scouts wear a turquoise jumper and the Group neckerchief as uniform. Badges that they earn are then added to their uniform as shown here.

Badges are a record of all the exciting, interesting activities and challenges Beavers undertake. They recognise an obstacle that has been overcome, a skill that has been learnt or the time and effort a Beaver has invested into achieving something worthwhile.
