Squirrels

Squirrels are the youngest section in the Scout world.

Squirrels can achieve anything they set their minds to – and they have lots of fun along the way.

The one-hour sessions are a brilliant opportunity for young people to take their first step into being part of Scouts, and they’ll help everyone get ready for the adventure of school too.

Sessions are packed with outdoor activities, fun, games, badges, laughter, and so much more to help our youngest members learn the skills they need for life. Of course, none of it would be possible without the support of the amazing leaders who plan and deliver such an inspiring programme.

Meetings

Squirrels meet on Fridays during term times at St. Christopher’s Church Hall in Warden Hill 4.30-5.30pm

Uniform

Squirrel Scouts wear a red jumper and the Group neckerchief as uniform. Badges that they earn are then added to their uniform as shown below

Badges are a record of all the exciting, interesting activities and challenges they undertake. They recognise an obstacle that has been overcome, a skill that has been learnt or the time and effort they have invested into achieving something worthwhile.
